Mrs. Fainer has been a member of the Trafalgar family since 2007 when she joined the staff as Assistant Principal. She became the Principal of Trafalgar Elementary School in 2011. Mrs. Fainer earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of South Florida in 1988 and her M.Ed. in 1998. She began her teaching career at San Carlos Park Elementary School where she taught kindergarten, first, second and fourth grade for 7 years. She transferred to Tanglewood Elementary School in 1995 and taught third and fourth grades. In 1998, she was offered the position of Writing Coach at Allen Park Elementary which she enjoyed as well as teaching a full time gifted 5th grade class. Mrs. Fainer then took on the position of Curriculum/Technology Specialist at Diplomat Elementary as well as teaching fourth grade until she transferred to Franklin Park Elementary. She taught fourth grade until the position of Curriculum Specialist became available. Her final position before coming to Trafalgar Elementary was Assistant Principal at Trafalgar Middle School from 2004-2007. She has had a variety of teaching and leadership experiences at different schools, and has learned so much from each one. Mrs. Fainer is highly committed and dedicated to providing a quality education to meet the needs of all students and is involved with the design and implementation of curriculum and instruction.

Jennifer Milstein, Assistant Principal

Ms. Milstein became a member of the Trafalgar family as Assistant Principal in October 2011. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mentally Impaired from Wayne State University in Michigan. After graduation in 1997, she moved to Florida where she began her teaching career at Cypress Lake Middle School in a Special Education classroom. She spent the next 13 years teaching in a variety of settings. During that time, Ms. Milstein earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University and her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Her experiences in the district range from teaching Special Education to Staffing Specialist to Behavior Specialist. She brings a variety of experience with her and enjoys working with all students. Ms. Milstein’s commitment to student success is evident in her daily work. She strives to find the strengths in each student and encourages them to use those strengths in all that they do.
