We are
pleased to announce that we will be offering a variety of enrichment clubs for
our students. Because of our new start time, most of the clubs will be offered
in the afternoons from 2:00 3:00 PM. Parents must agree to pick up their
child at 3:00 PM or the child will be sent to the Voyages program and parents
will be assessed the registration and daily fee. Children already enrolled
in the Voyages program will be sent to Voyages at the conclusion of their club.
We will also be offering morning clubs. Our Track Club will meet at 6:45 AM
7:30 AM. The other morning clubs meet 7:30-7:50 AM. Parents will need to
provide transportation to school for members of Track Club. All of our clubs
will begin on September 21, 2009. There will be a two week grace period for
students to decide if they would like to remain in their chosen club/s, join
another, or withdraw from the club completely. During the week beginning October
5th, our club members will be set and only students new to our school will be
permitted to join after this date. Students will not be permitted to quit one
club to join another without permission from their parents and the club
sponsors. Club members will be expected to attend every meeting of their club
unless absent from school. A written excuse note should be brought to the club
sponsor when the child returns to school. Carefully review the brief
descriptions of the clubs and contact the sponsor if you require further
information.
