Please have your car tag visible at all times during pick up.
If there is a change in the way your child will be going home, please send a note in your child's planner. If you have siblings at Trafalgar, please write the change in all planners. We do not take transportation changes over the phone, so any emergency changes need to be sent in writing to the school by 1:00.
The safest way to pick up your child at the end of the day is in the car line. Please do not walk up to pick up children up at dismissal.
Rainy Day Dismissal
In the event of lightning or heavy rain at dismissal time, we will hold all walkers and bike riders until the lightning is a safe distance away. If you wish to pick up your child who walks, feel free to go through the parent pick up line. Parent pick up and bus dismissal procedures will be modified and may take a little longer than normal. If you are in the parent pick up line, please remain there and follow directions from a staff member.
Morning Drop Off
The safest way to drop children off in the morning is in the car line. Please stay in the right lane along the front of the building. Do not use the left lane to pass cars dropping off students. Students should not be dropped off in the parking areas and allowed to walk to the building unaccompanied. An adult needs to walk with children to the building.
